At Breakspear Park, we care about what’s important to the people who work here. Not only do we provide excellent working conditions and an outstanding health and well-being initiative, we also make sure we look after our environment, because what we do today impacts everyone’s futures.
So how are we making a difference?
By streamlining resources, we oversee and manage all of the general office waste that is produced on site – from food to wooden pallets, we ensure that 100% of waste is recycled. As a result, no waste has been sent to landfill in the past seven years.
We do this by providing on-site food composting, cardboard bailing, wooden pallet disposal and glass recycling. We run off 100% renewable energy and offer additional green initiatives such as a designated shuttle bus which runs between the train station, Hemel Hempstead town centre and Breakspear Park, plus we provide over 100 bicycle racks for tenants’ staff. The measures that have been applied are regularly reviewed and we annually invite staff to feedback other suggested ways to make Breakspear Park a greener and cleaner place to work.
